Amar Khan – Acting, writing and dancing her way to the top!

Amar Khan recently appeared as the cover girl of Applause Pakistan Magazine’s bi-weekly Fall Edition and in her true fashion, garnered all the limelight. For starters, Amar Khan rose to the Pakistani entertainment scene in 2017 with a short film Chashm-e-Nur opposite Ahsan Khan. Her official TV debut was Belapur Ki Dayan in 2018 for which she even earned an award nomination at Lux Style Awards for Best Emerging Talent. After Belapur Ki Dayan, she went on to play leading roles in a number of dramas such as Ghughi, Dil-e-Bereham, Dil-e-Gumshuda, Qayamat, Baddua, Daraar, Heer Da Hero, Breaking News among others. Many critics have called her a natural performer and have appreciated her versality.

Amar who started writing and directing short films during her bachelors degree at Beaconhouse National University continued to work as an actor and writer simulatenously which makes her one of the few actresses in the country who can write and direct too. In 2022, she made her film debut with ‘Dum Mastam’ opposite Imran Ashraf. With the film, again Amar made history of being Pakistan’s first heroine who wrote her debut film. The movie was declared a hit at the box office and audiences and critics alike praised Amar’s writing and acting too.
Amar is also one of the few Pakistani artists who owns a degree from the prestigious New York Film Academy. Apart from being a terrific actor and writer, Amar has a knack for dancing as well. She has modelled for a number of clothing brands and have been the cover girl of various publications in the country.

Currently, Amar can be seen in two big projects such as Dil-e-Nadaan and Sunn Mere Dil. Both the projects have already been declared superhits on TV. In our bi-weekly Fall Edition, Amar Khan raises the temperatures in this winter with her ultra glam avatar, while we patiently wait for all her future projects.
